Referred to Duty DAC via the OOD.
5 or more appliances are referred to what rank?
Referred to Duty AC.
If two or more LFB appliances are mobilised to cross border incidents what rank will be mobilised and what is their role?
SM will be mobilised as a (CBLO) Cross border liaison officer.
What are the duties of a CBLO?
Ensure that all LFB crews are briefed & comply with IC’s operational plan.
Ensure LFB crews only take instruction from their own officers in line with chain of command & IC’s management structure.
Ensure sufficient resources to allow LFB crews to set up our own SSOW.
Informing impacted FRS of available LFB resources.
Monitoring crews welfare/reliefs requested.
Any safety event (SERD) involving LFB resources is investigated by our own SAI’s.
Identify areas of improvement and best practice for LFB crews/equipment and report it into IMP via (IMPD)
Incident management database.
Mobilisations to cross border incidents are?
1 pump or special appliance - 1 x CM 2 pumps - 1 x WM (SM Informed) 3-4 pumping appliances/specials - mobilise SM (CBLO) 5-6 pumping appliances/specials - GM 7-10 pumping appliances/specials - DAC 11 and above mobilise AC as (CBLO)
