A

The RDA for adults is considered to be 1000mg, although a more adequate level for optimum health would be a total intake of around 5000mg per day. Requirements for vitamin C vary according to age (needs increase with years), state of health, weight, activity, energy levels and metabolism. Needs are increased with stress (emotional and environmental), illness and injuries. Smoking, birth control pills, cortisone use and aspirin all decrease vitamin C levels.

Epsom salt bath:
Salt detox bath allows for the drawing out of toxins from the body. Composed of magnesium and sulfate.
When absorbed through the skin it will sedate the NS, reduce the swelling, help relax muscles and act as emollient.
Mg plays a vital role in the NS so will reduce anxiety. Sulphate strengthens the GI tract.
Bath also good for dermatological and inflammatory conditions.

Hot and cold showers:
Stimulate movement in the blood and lymph. Heat relaxes and increases circulation outwards towards skin. Cold causes the flow to be directed towards internal organs.
The alternation causes the circulation to move in and out to help detoxify and strengthen the immune system.
Alternate between hot and cold temperature and repeat around seven times.

This is very close to the length of a month in the Western calendar, which usually have 30 or 31 days. Every month usually has one of each of the phases. So a typical month will have a new moon, first quarter, full moon and last quarter moon. But every now and then, a month will have two of the same phases. When a month has two full moons, the second one is called a “blue moon”.
Blue moons are rare, and that’s where the phrase comes from, “once in a blue moon”. How rare? They always happen once every 2-3 years.
