To divert fuel to the primary and secondary manifolds
enables rapid and cooler engine starts
What happens to fuel drained form the fuel flow divider during engine shutdown?
It is used during the next engine start

What component is the primary means for engine shutdown?
What can be used in an emergency?
- The metering valve (needle)
- In an emergency the FIRE ARM or EDCU can be used
What is the purpose of the stepper motor within the FCU?

Converts low voltage aircraft electrical bus to high voltage

To ENGAGE #1 to MAIN from APU
(MAIN SELECTION)
- # 1 IDLE/APU, #2 FLT
- # 1 OFF, #2 IDLE/FLT
To DISENGAGE #1 from MAIN to use as APU mode…

What is the purpose of the thermal bypass in the Air Cooled Oil Cooler (ACOC)?
For oil to bypass the matrix when <54°C

What does [1(2) ENG OIL FILTER] signify?
Impending oil filtration bypass
Where is the Engine Oil pump located?
Within the Engine RGB
What is the primary purpose of the engine oil?
To lubricate the engine bearings

Oil temp >135°C
