Reporting - Employees, what are employees responsibilities with regards to safety on the work site?
Workers have a duty to take care of their own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your actions at work.
Workers must cooperate with employers and co-workers to help everyone to meet their legal requirements.
Reporting - Employer’s responsibilities
As an employer you must do whatever practical to maintain; Health, safety and welfare
Have duties to assess risks and carry out risk assessments P

A safety officers aim is to prevent accidents, injuries and work related illnesses in the work place. Create and implement health and safety procedures

What is an investigators role within the HSE
Investigate accidents or complaints from employees and the general public. Determine causes and share lessons learned.
Reporting - what are a trade Union representatives responsibilities?
Contact employers and the HSE about something that has caused or could cause harm
Must be an appointed representative
Try to resolve using their powers under their regulations

Responsible for investigating incidents that affect health for example - Pollution, Accidents, Noise, Toxic Contamination, Pest infestations, Waste Mangement, Food Poisoning
