What is the mechanism of action of potassium-sparing diuretics?

A

In combination with other diuretics, theycounteract potassium loss and enhance diuresis. Amiloride acts on DCT, inhibiting reabsorption of Na+, leading to Na+ and water excretiuon and K+ retention
