Federalists: wanted a strong national government, industry and trade, a self sufficient economy, loose constructionist, federalist and industrialist, favored banks and factories
Democratic-Republicans: wanted a strong state government, small family farms, strict constructionist, state gets to decide things, hates factories and banks

- Assumption of all state debts from the Revolutionary War

Alien 1: President can deport any resident alien considered dangerous to the peace and safety of the US
Alien 2: President can apprehend and deport residents if their home countries were at war with the US
Naturalization Act: Extended citizenship ability from 7 years to 14 years
Sedition Act: Made it a crime to publish false and malicious writing against the government or its officials
