A

-It forms a 2 way conduction system between the brain and peripheral nerves
- it controls “reflex” actions that do not require supervision by the brain
ex: changing pupil size
responding to danger

  • bone marrow inside bones create red blood cells
  • rib cage protects heart
  • tendon links bone to muscle
  • heart pumps blood to different parts of the body, blood travels from heart to the lungs, where the respiratory system supplies blood with oxygen. you inhale air through your nose or mouth, it psses through your pharynx, larynx, trachea and to your lungs, where it diffuses blood through the alveoli
