Q

As the pigs continuously as break the principles of Animalism, the animals are “conscious of a vague uneasiness”

A

They never act on the sense of injustice though- Orwell is PORTRAYING how people in Russia did realise to some extent that communism was an unjust system but they never protested due to the extent of their INDOCTRINATION to believe:
“Four legs good, two legs bad”- Their fellow comrades are breaking the ideals of Socialism but it’s alright because the “essential” principle is still upheld
“I will work harder”- They must remain patriotic and as long as the Tsars are gone, they are working for Animalism(for themselves) so had a duty to build us socialist Russia
“Napoleon is always right”- Their leaders are undisputable

Quotes are representative of manipulated patriotic and socialist beliefs imbibed into the the Russian people
