A
Necrotising vasculitis of medium sized vessels resulting in aneurysm and thrombus formation
Causes infarction in many organs

Symptoms of PAN
A
Skin rash
Punched out ulcers
Glomerular ischaemia
Also heart, GI, neuro involvement
USUALLY LUNG SPARING

Investigations for PAN
A
High CRP and ESR
Diagnose on renal biopsy or angiography

A
Refer
Control BP
Manage complications
Steroids if mild, steroid sparing drugs if severe
