Q

What are pleural fissures? Where are they found?

A

extensions of the potential pleural space between adjacent lung lobes

  • R = 6th ICS between cranial and middle lobes, 8th ICS between middle and caudal
  • L = 4th ICS between cranial subsegments, 7th ICS between cranial and caudal
