scoring: mean scores provide a play age score indicative of child’s play maturity

play according to intrinsic motivation, internal control, disengagement from constraints of reality, and framing
extent, intensity, and skillfulness of play
score: 25th% or below indicate need for intervention
population: 15 months-10 years
Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment (TPBA)
measures child’s dev, learning style, interaction patterns, behaviors to det need for services
observations: cognitive, social-emotional, communication and language, and sensorimotor
scoring: curriculum dev to address particular needs
population: infancy to 6 years
