Assessments of Task Peformance Flashcards
Bay Area Functional Performance Evaluation (BAFPE)
cognitive, affective, performance,social interaction skills
The Task Oriented Assessment (TOA)
measures cognition, performance, affect, qualitative signs, referral indicators through the completion of 5 standardized, timed tasks
observes and rates task perf but does NOT provide guidance
The Social Interaction Scale (SIS)
relate approp to others within env through observations of ind in 5 situations
optional self-report social interaction questionnaire
perceptual motor screening
Scoring of TOA: 3 component, 12 parameter, 5 task scores
norms presented for comparison with specific adult psychiatric populations
Scoring of SIS: 7 situation and 5 parameter scors as well as one total SIS score
TOA and SIS scores are NOT combined for a total BAFPE score but used as ind of overall functional perf and provide info about skills
population: adults with psychiatric, neurological, dev diagnoses
Comprehensive Occupational Therapy Evaluation Scale (COTE Scale)
7 items address general behavior such as appearance, punctuality, activity level
6 items: interpersonal behavior
12 items: task behavior
may be used for initial assessment and to record progress
method: observation and behavior is rated, tasks are selected/designed by OT
scoring: each item rated on a scale of 0 (normal) to 4 (severe)
population: adults with acute psychiatric diagnoses
