Why does Plato believe philosophy is important?
He thinks it is an incantation that makes it possible not to fear death.

They are both objects that we can cherish. Something we can hold onto in times of crazy life happenings.
What is Plato’s view of ethics?
The soul is an eternal compass of right and wrong. If you listen to your soul, it will help you make the right decision.
What did Plato think of the body?
That it was a distraction from a virtuous life, it sought pleasure and urges that were not contributing to the best life.
What does Plato see as the relationship between experience and truth?
There are truths, virtues that are heavenly and largely unreachable. Our experience of things are bastardisations of these heavenly virtues, they can never truly represent these virtues.
What does Plato perception of heaven?
As a divine ethereal space that surrounds Earth in it’s purity and goodness. He originally conceived these ideas of heaven that we think of today. Based on the ideas of the human body and soul.
