What does Nietzsche think is best when someone is suffering?
Let them suffer. We should not try to remedy or pity someone who is suffering. Let them lead their life.
What does Nietzsche think of the separation of body and soul?
He thinks that it doesn’t exist. We are our bodies and our souls. With a bad/sick body, we can only think bad/sick thoughts.
How much truth should we seek according to Nietzsche?
As much as one can bear. If we are strong then we confront the questions that make us feel uncomfortable.
Why is God dead according to Nietzsche?
We have created a world where things have meaning in themselves, not because a divine thing gives meaning to them.
What did Nietzsche ask from society in terms of ethics/philosophy?
To engage with problems morally. To deepen their understandings of the mysticism of the world. We need to move slowly, to understand properly the way the world is.
What did Nietzsche think about those who intoxicate themselves?
They are removing themselves from the truth of the world, they are the worst kind of people. Escapism from life makes us a burden on society, there is no working towards understanding who we are.
