What did Aquinas take from Aristotle?
A
That knowledge and morals are not innate or divine, but that it takes a sense of contemplation and reasoning to understand them.

What does Aquinas see as human “telos” or end goal?
A
We aspire towards beatitude, where we are intertwined with God, and experience happiness and fulfillment. Beatitude is seeing God’s essence.

A
Aquinas thought that it was important to work towards beatitude, but that this was relative, that people could have their own understanding of truth and goodness.
