To run a small scale production of the exp to make sure that everything in the method is correct

The ppts are unaware of the aim of the exp

Both the researcher and the ppts are unaware of the aim of the exp

Why is a pilot study helpful for questionnaires or interviews?

To make sure all of the Qs make sense and everybody can understand them

To provide a baseline for comparison
