When do the pilots that are performing the landing need to be in their seats?
1 hr prior to landing
What’s the “green on green” rule?
PIC and SIC must have at least 250 hrs combined on a/c type
What’s standard report times?
1 hr prior to sched dep = domestic
2 hr prior to sched = international
When does your duty time finish?
- 30 min after blocks in
- after company releases you
- after clearing customs
whichever is later
What is the minimum amount of rest for domestic ops?
8 hours
Are there any variations to this?
If the pilot exceeds 8 hours flight duty in a 24 hour period
What is min rest for international ops?
11 hours if flight duty is less than 18 hours
What is min rest if a pilot exceeds 18, 20, 24 hours?
18 hours = 13 hours rest
20 hours = 14 hours rest
24 hours = 16 hours rest
How long can R-1, R-2 be assigned?
12 hours
