A
Persecution is the hostility and ill treatment due to race, religion, ethnicity, etc.

- Positive effects, strengthens faith/ share Jesus suffering
- Act against ‘If one part suffers, every part suffers with it.
- Love + forgiveness, ‘Do not be overcome evil but overcome evil with good.’

Why do Christians help people in poverty?
A
- Jesus once told a rich man to sell everything and give to the poor.
- The parable of the good Samaritan shows that goodness to all is important.
