-Norfolk reassured them that he would take a list of their demands straight to the king - Aske spent Christmas with Henry, who reassured him that he and the rebels had his full support

- Aske killed in york in 1537
- Cromwell remains Henry’s most faithful servant
- monastery land continued to be sold
- 200 executions took place at end of rebellion- no more rebellions in Henry’s reign
