Q

What are Derived Quantities and how are they obtained?

A

In scientific calculators, it is often necessary to combine 2 or more of the fundamental quantities. The resulting quantity is called a derived quantity and its unit is a derived unit.
Derived Units are obtained from the multiplication &/or division of fundamental or base quantity
(All other quantities and their units are formed from the seven fundamental quantities & their units)
