What is the objective of the egress system checkout certification program?
Familiarize personnel working in and around the cockpit with ejection seats and the special hazards associated with.
What is Hypoxia?
A decrease in the amount of oxygen per unit volume of air and results in an insufficient amount of oxygen entering the bloodstream causing the eyes, body and muscles to fail.
What is Anoxia?
Death due to complete lack of oxygen.
Before entering the Cockpit, what two pins must be in place?
- Arm/safe/egress level located in the SAFE postion with pin installed
- Transparency removal system safety pin is installed and fully seated
