Nail fungal infection
Terbinafine or Itraconazole
Must check LFT’s
HIV needlestick prophylaxis
Low risk: Lamivudine & Zidovudine (Combivir)
High risk: Lamivudine + Zidovudine + Indinavir
Lyme Disease
Early stage: Doxycycline
or Amoxicillin or Cefuroxime or Clarithromycin
Stage 2 or 3: Ceftriaxone
Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever
Adults: Doxycycline
PEDs/Pregnant: Chloramphenicol
Remember Doxycline is CI in peds b/c it affects joint development.
