Personality disorder (Cluster A- Weird) characterized by a detachment from social relationships and restricted range of emotions in social settings; neither desires or enjoys relationships, chooses solitary activities and lacks any close friends or hobbies
Schizoid Personality Disorder
Personality disorder (Cluster A- Weird) characterized by social deficits with discomfort and reduced capacity for close relationships along with perceptual distortions and eccentric behavior

Difference between Schizoid and Schizotypal personality disorders
Schizoid: very withdrawn, doesn’t desire relationships
Schizotypal: eccentric behavior and perceptions (premorbid for SCHIZOPHRENIA)

Antisocial Personality Disorder
Difference between Schizoid and Antisocial personality disorders
Schizoid: very withdrawn and doesn’t desire relationships, but DOESN’T violate the laws or rights of othes
Antisocial: disregard for laws and rights of others
Personality disorder (Cluster B- Wild) characterized by unstable self-image and interpersonal relationships due to frantic efforts to avoid abandonment, alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation, self-harm, suicide and inappropriate, intense anger (poor frustration tolerance!)
Borderline Personality Disorder

Personality disorder (Cluster B- Wild) characterized by excessive emotion, inappropriate sexual seductiveness and attention seeking due to an uncomfortability when they are not in the center of attention; an overvalued need to be desired physically
