Eligible vehicles
-private passenger type autos
Vans/pickups eligible if less than 10,000 pounds & not used for transportation of goods/materials
Mopeds/motorcycles not included
For coverage under part D, collision coverage will begin on the date the insured becomes the owner if the insurer is notified:
- within 14 days after the insured becomes the owner, if the collision coverage applies to at least one auto already on the policy
- within 4 days after the insured becomes owner, if the collision coverage does not apply to any auto already on the policy. In the event that a loss occurs before notice is provided, a 500$ deductible will apply

Part A liability coverage
Insuring agreement
The insurer will:
- Pay damages for bodily injury or property damage for which an insured becomes legally responsible due to an auto accident
- settle or defend any claim or sue asking for such damages
- Pay all defense costs it incurs, in addition to liability limits. The insurers duty to settle or defend ends when the limit of liability is exhausted.
Supplementary payments
In addition to the limit of liability, the insurer will pay:
- up to 250$ for the cost of bail bonds required bc of and accident
- premuims on appeal bonds
- interest accrued after judgement is rendered in any suit defended by insured
- up to 200$ a day for the insureds loss of earnings die to attendance of trials or hearings
- other reasonable expenses incurred at the insurers request.
Does not pay traffic fines
Limit of liability
The limit of liability shown in the declarations is the maximum the insurer will pay for each person injured in any one accident.
Out of staye coverage
While the covered auto is away from the state where it is principally garaged, the policy’s limit of liability insurance will automatically increase without additional premuim to comply with any higher specified compulsory insurance or financial responsibility law in the state where the covered auto is being used.
Other insurance
If other auto liability insurance is in place at time of covered loss:
- Policy only pays its share of loss
- Policy pays on an excess basis for any non owned auto
Part b- medical payments coverage
The Insurer Will pay reasonable expenses and incurred for necessary medical/funeral services caused by an accident, sustained by and insured, and incurred within three years of a claim
This policy applies to :
- named insured or any family members occupying any auto or acting as a pedestrian when struck by a motor vehicle
- any other person, such ass passenger, while occupying ur covered auto
Limit of liability part b medical
Limit of liability show me the declarations is the maximum and sure will pay for each person injured in anyone accident.
The minimum is 1000 per person
Part C- uninsured motorist and underinsured motorist coverage
All policies of personal auto insurance must be written to include UM coverage with liability limits equal to those provided under part A of policy.
Policy defines uninsured motor vehicle as:
- A vehicle that is uninsured at time of accident
- a hit and run vehicle, whose operator cannot be identified
- uninsured motorist: a vehicle for which there is a liability policy/bond in force at the time of accident, but for which the insurer denies coverage or becomea insolvent, or policy limit for bodily injury is less than required by the financial responsibility law.
Part D - coverage for damage to your auto
The insurer will pay for direct / accidental physical loss to the covered auto or any non owned auto minus any applicable deductible , from collision other than collision losses.
Transportation expenses
Insurer will pay without application of deductible, $20 per day or up to 600$ for transportation expenses incurred bc of collision or comprehensive loss.
Part E- duties after accident or loss
- notify insurer
- cooperate w investigation of claim
- send legal copies or notices to insurer
- submit proof of loss
- authorize insurer to obtain medical reports
