What can lead to unaccurate ABPI readings?

What does the Duplex ultrasound scan allow?
Can asses the flow of blood and the rate at which the blood is flowing. Slide 15
What are the invasive investigations to check forperipheral vascular disease?
Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)
CT angiography
Catheter angiography

What treatment can you administer to try and prevent lower limb ischaemia?

If there is a narrowing in a vessel what treatment can be done?
Angioplasty with/without stent
Inflow bypass or outflow bypass

What does a patient present with if they have critical limb ischaemia?
Pain at rest in their toes or forefoot Worse at night and hepled by sitting and putting leg in a dependent position. Ulcers Damage Slide 23+24
