Fibrinous - Dressler syndrome, Uremia, Radiation

Serous - viral SLE + rheumatoid arthritis

Suppurative purulent - bacteria (strep, pneumococ)

A

TB!!, idiopath, scar from surgery ->

Thick parietal pericard = (dyst. calcifi) ->

What causes long QT syndrome

A

Inherited ion channel defect -> depol issue ->

Torsades de Pointes = LONG QT interval

What’s wolf Parkinson’s

A

Instead of going to AVN, go down bundle of Kent = quicker - SVT - depol quicker

See DELTA WAVE + wide QRS + ⬇️PR interval

A

Sharp pain

Worse @ inspiration + leaning forward
Better @ sitting up

Friction rub, wide ST segment elevation/PR depress
