Shoring Types
Shoring can protect the AC floor by evenly distributing highly concentrated loads over a greater area than that occupied by the cargo alone or assist in loading by changing the loading angle Rolling Shoring Parking Shoring Sleeper Shoring Bridge Shoring Approach Shoring
Rolling Shoring
Is either wood in layer or layers which protect the AC floor by distributing the weight of the cargo over a larger are while these items of cargo are loaded.
Parking Shoring
Is what the cargo rest on during flight.Protects the floor by distributing the load weight over a larger area.If rolling shoring is used you must also use parking shoring.
Sleeper Shoring
Keeps this bouncing action to a minimum. Is built by stacking wood in layers to the height needed and then placed under the vehicles frame
Bridge Shoring
Spreads the weight out to 2 separate areas that can handle the load.
Approach Shoring
Layers of wood built in ascending lengths, extending the length of the loading ramp.
