A

Accidents resulting from these extreme forces of nature are estimated at only 2% of all accidents. People are responsible for most accidents. Some factors include the environment of the individual, work hours, deliberate unsafe acts and also tolerating unsafe acts.

Wearing of Jewelry

A

Crewmembers will not wear wigs, hair pieces, rings, ornaments, pins, clips, other hair fasteners, or earrings in the AC or on the flight line. Personnel on the flightline will not wear finger rings.

Driving on the Flightline

A

Personnel must obtain a government drivers license before they can operate any gov vehicle. One major problem on the flight line is speeding.
General Speed limit - 15mph
Within 25ft of an AC - 5 mph
Inside an aircraft - 3mph
Right of way also must be given to emergency vehicles, pedestrians and taxiing aircraft to avoid accidents.
