He did have kids with Katniss Everdeen, 15 years after the story ended. They had one little boy and a girl that was a little older.

When Peeta is grouped with the Careers, he kills the District 8 female after she foolishly started a fire. When the Careers found her early next day, Cato stabbed her. When they don’t hear a cannon, Peeta goes back and gives her the final stab. When Katniss and Peeta teamed up later, he accidentally killed Foxface when he gathered Nightlock berries without recognizing them or knowing how deadly they were, and as Foxface thought they were going to eat them, she thought they were save to eat. She actually could have win the Games because how smart she was.
