District 12 is consisted in four different areas, the merchant section, the Seam, the Victors Village and the Hob.

It contains twelve luxurious houses. Nine are empty and have always bin.
What is a tesserae and where do children sign up for it?
A tesserae is a year supplies of oil and grain. They sign up for tesserae in the Justice Building.
What is District 12’s main industry?
Coal. Many people work in the mines. Katniss Everdeen’s father died in a mine accident when she was eleven years old. After that she hunted and killed animals to keep the family alive.
