He was still alive in the end of the Mockingjay. But when bombs that maybe were sent in his order, killed Prim for a mistake, it ruined everything in Gale’s and Katniss’ relationship. He moved to District 2.

Gale works in the mines. He goes hunting with Katniss in Sundays.
