This beautiful district is lush with trees, from which the citizens supple lumber and paper to the Capitol. The people of District 7 are hardworking and down-to-earth.

They are always dressed as trees according to the book. In the film, however, they are shown being in origami-like paper costumes in the 74th Hunger Games.
