- Dangerous = affecting lives

- cleaning up mistakes = time consuming

Describe the process of a peer review?
A
- data collected
- send to journal editor who sends out for peer review
- peer review by other researches in similar fields
- work considered in terms of validity, significance and originality, + methods and design
- reviewer either accept with revisions or reject without resubmissions

- high subjective
- easily abused
- prone to bias
