- observing the child during social play, motor processes, and feeding skills is the most comprehensive assessment of skills.

What to do if a child refuses to participate in assessment
A
Ultimately you want to build rapport with the child. Do not force them to particpate or risk having them not participate in future treatments. Discontinue assessment and contact parents.
