Is the unlawful use of violence.

The action of causing someone to adopt radical views on political or social issues.

John 21:15-17 - “Jesus forgave Peter for denying him.”
Luke 23:34 - “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”
What does Reconciliation bring?
-Learning from the past.
-A more peaceful future.
-A stronger relationship.
-Apprecitpation and acceptance of eachother.
-An oppurtunity to live without fear.
-A respect for other people’s religions and beliefs.
Why is injustice wrong?
It can cause people to lose their sense of self-wprth and self-respect.

What is the christian view on righteous anger?
Many christians believe that righteous anger is acceptable because it can be controlled and channeled into positive action,which can improve a situation.
What is the Just war criteria?
-Must be a just cause.
-There must be a good chance of winning and restoring peace.
-Must be declared by a legitimate authority.
-Only proportional force should be used.
-Innocent civillians should not be attacked.
-It must be the last resort.
What are some reasons why the Catholic Church opposes weapons of mass destruction?
-Christians believe in the Sanctity of Life and that all human life is sacred.
-The possibility of success is small.
-The cost of researching and making these weapons are huge and the government could be using that money to improve people’s lives.
What are the three main consequences of modern warfare?

Everyone should obey the authorities as they have been put in charge by God.

What are christian pacifist views?
-Early christians would not fight.
