Keratin pearls or intercellular bridges
What is the characteristic histology of adenocarcinoma?
Glands or mucin
What is the characteristic histology of large cell carcinoma?
Poorly differentiated large cells
What is the characteristic histology of carcinoid tumor?
Well differentiated neuroendocrine cells - chromogranin positive
What cancers are associated with smoking?
Small cell carcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma, large cell carcinoma, adenocarcinoma - female smokers
What cancers have a central location?
Small cell carcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma, large cell carcinoma, and Carcinoid tumor (both)
What cancers have peripheral location?
Adenocarcinoma and carcinoid (both) - polyp mass in the bronchus
