He was a English fashion designer who founded the haute of Worth, one of the foremost fashion houses of the 19th and early 20th century. Worth was the first to use live models in order to promote his garments to clients. And also the first one to put labels on his clothing, which made the fashion designer profession more prestigious since it got seen as an artist.
