- Recent scars and sutures

Thermal Agents: Paraffin Bath - Application
A
- Paraffin wax to mineral oil - 6:1 or 7:1
- Mixture melts between 118-130 F
- Mixture self sterilizes between 175-180 F
- Glove method (6-12 layers) - rest 15-20 min
- Dip/Immersion (6-12) rest in bath 15-20 min
- Treatment temperature: 125-127 F
- Treatment time: 15-20 min
