Granary square had higher levels of environment popularity. People would be more likely to recommend Granary square than Caledonian road.

What were the conclusions of the investigation?

A

Overall the regenerated area in Granary square was better than Caledonian road. Caledonian road is seen to have its economy based on businesses based outside of the area. However, Granary square is far more centred about businesses from inside the area. Granary square is more modern in architecture, it also receives more attention to keep the area cleaner than Caledonian road, and to better maintain the area. Granary square is also better suited for pedestrians, and less centred around providing space for vehicles. Due to the presence of security in the area, people felt safer in Granary square than in Caledonian road. Furthermore, due to the maintenance of the area, people rate the quality of environment higher in Granary square. Thus with the funding of Granary square, people would be more likely to recommend Granary square to live in than in Caledonian road.
