Q

Describe the Decision Making stage of the

IPM? (3 marks)

A

In the Decision Making stage you use the skill chosen and use your memory to recall what you should do. Usually this comes from training. You use your short term memory to recall any actions you took before when doing this skill. Then your long term memory will get realeased so then you can futher remember what you should do and often go with the long term memory as it’ll be more successful.

A

Feedback can either be extrinsic or intrinsic. Extrinsic- crowd, someone telling you that you performed well. Intrinsic- Feeling as though you performed well, being proud. You can then adapt the skill to be even more sucessful through listening to the feedback you are given (Extrinsic). You can use Kineasthetic learning to draw or visulise or try the skill at training with the adapments you were told to make.
