Submitted in writing to the Asst Commissioner for Personal. When verification that the domestic partner has been registered is received from the NYC Dept of Personnel the bereavement leave will be approved
Bereavement leave will not be less than
4 calendar days
Member receiving a death notice when on duty shall be
Promptly excused by the immediate superior officer on duty
