What is sturge-weber syndrome?

A

When you have a port wine stain on the upper face, but also have ipsilateral vascular malformation (e.g. in meninges and cerebral cortex) This can cause seizures, hemiparesis and developmental problems. Glaucoma may also be presnt in up to 45% of people, especially if upper and lower eyelids are affected.
