Juxtaposition of 2 phrases

A

“Ye mighty despair , nothing besides remains”

First phrase displays Ozymandias as authoritative and in control however following the phrase up with the next one emphasises the futility of human power

Also the latter phrase ditches pentameter reflecting the loss of Ozymandias’s power

First description we get of where Ozymandias comes from. Poet immediately cements the idea in our heads that his land is old using the adjective Antique and that his power has dissipated
