Oxygen system components
- 7 high pressure storage cylinders grouped into two banks
- 1st bank is a two bottle system for pilot and flight engineer
- 2nd bank is a 5 bottle system for copilot, navigator, radiomen, cabin crew
- 4 recharging ports for portable units
- lower gauge is for 2 cylinder bank
- upper gauge is for 5 cylinder bank
Oxygen instructions and componenets
- system will be serviced at 450 psi
- left cutoff switch for pilot and flight engineer
- right cutoff switch for copilot, flight nav, and crew
- 500-600 psi relief valve blow out and 20 psi green disk
- ruby red tape pilot, copilot and flight engineer hoses
If the portable oxygen bottle is depleted, determine if the bottle has been depleted for over 2 hours or unknown. If the bottle has been depleted for over 2 hours or unknown, the portable bottle must be what?
Inspected and purged IAW TO 15X-1-1

If portable oxygen bottle pressure reads below 25 psi and has been out of use for at least 2 hours, the bottle must be what

What threads on on pipe elbows do you not apply anti-seize tape
Do not wrap anti-seize tape on first 2 threads of fitting nearest opening.

Oxygen pressures and precentages
- 1800 psi reduced to operating pressure of 300-475psi
- 5 hour supply is normally provided for each crew member
- pilot and flight engineer have aprox. 20% greater duration than crew.
