Q

How has the development and improvement of modern technology contributed to over fishing

A

Fishing vessels have freezes to store fishes as they are being caught, which allows for fisherman to fish for longer periods without the fish going bad, which means more fish are being caught which leads to overfishing. Sonar and GPS make it easier to find fish which allows fisherman to locate large amount of fish which leads to overfishing. Large fishing vessels allow more fish to be stored on them which means more fish can be cold which could lead to overfishing.
