Parker’s Theory
A revolution is a deliberately provoked, irreversible social and political change. Must look at historical precedence.

Constitutional Republican Revolutions: Document sets up government. Ex. US 1776, France 1789, Dutch 1500s.
Communist Revolutions: Shoot for social equality, don’t get there. Etiopia 1920s, Russia 1917, China 1949.
National Liberation Revolutions: Colonies want to sit at the big kid table.
