red in bone strength + higher fracture

osteoclasts resorb bone matric and osteoblasts create new bone

imbalance causes OP, supply affects cavity repair

Remodelling controlled by cytokines

RANK2 prod by OB binds to OC to promote funciton

ultra-s to measure bone strength

quantitive computed tomography - trabecular bone density
