Mx of reactive arthritis
self limiting
pain relief
Most common cause of hip pain in under 5y?
- transient synovitis
- 50% have hx of URTI
Most common cause of hip pain in 5-10?
- Perthes
- AVN of the prox femoral head resulting from vascular compromise of blood
Most common cause of hip pain in >10yo
SUFE
- Hip/medial thigh pain etc
- Decreased range of movement
- Reduced internal rotation
Duration of sx of JIA
- at least 6 wks of sx
JIA sx
Salmon pink ash
Oligoarthritis
Uveitis
Growing pains
NEVER in the morning
Worse after vigorous activity
No limp/limitation
