Why are tourists attracted to these ‘hotspots?’
Tourists are attracted to these hotspots because they have primary and secondary resources and are accessible.

In order to become a ‘successful’ hotspot, the area needs to have both:
The infrastructure - accommodation, transport and public utilities; transport developments - ports, airports, railways
The attractions - scenic landscapes, coastal resorts, heritage and historic buildings, different cultures, performing arts, festivals.
What are the factors that affect the growth of a tourist/leisure hotspot?

the area from a facility or an attraction draws its support.
