Is a long, flexible rod, made of glass to transparent which is very narrow

How does Optic Fibre work?
A
Light sent in one end of an optic fibre travels through to the other end by undergoing TIR (Total Internal Reflection) - Reflecting Prisms to reflect 90 to 180 degrees
